We provide services in False Claims Act investigations and in dispute matters related to Cost Principles, Cost Accounting Standards, defective pricing, and other regulatory dispute matters for management and counsel. We have prepared, analyzed, or investigated hundreds of millions of dollars of government contract claims, disputes, or investigation-related issues for contracts ranging in size from less than $1 million to more than $400 million.

Our professionals have:

• Conducted financial statement audits, contract cost audits, compliance reviews of accounting and contracting practices, special purpose audits and analysis, extensive transaction analysis, and product line cost analysis.

• Conducted effective false claims investigations, helping counsel obtain a better understanding of the facts in relation to the allegations and enabling counsel to negotiate a favorable resolution of issues. In one substantial project, our comprehensive analysis of four years of transactions helped counsel refute relator contentions.

• Used our detailed knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations Contract Cost Principles, Cost Accounting Standards, Truth in Negotiations Act requirements, terminations requirements, and other regulations to help resolve issues or develop procedures to better manage risk.

• Conducted client training on Cost Principles and Procedures, Cost Accounting Standards, Truth in Negotiations Act, Terminations, and certain other regulations, as well as procedures, practices, and controls for labor reporting, claim preparation, and other contract cost matters.

• Testified on contract matters in Federal and State Courts and in special hearings, and prepared reports on investigation findings that were used by counsel in discussions with government agencies.
